Press Release Milwaukee, WI - Trans-Coil, Inc. announces the promotion of Steve Copp to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer effective July 1, 2002. Kerry Shoemaker, the owner and President of TCI will move into the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Since 1971, TCI has grown into an internationally recognized provider of high quality products for the adjustable speed drive industry. To meet changing market needs, TCI must focus on a new generation of technology and quick response to customer requirements. In order to accompish these goals, capable, intense, full-time leadership is required. Steve Copp has been chosen as the ideal candidate to lead TCI into further growth while retaining the values and integrity that the company has developed over the last 30 years. Steve has over 25 years of experience in small and mid-sized companies. He joined TCI as the Corporate Controller in 1989. In 1995, through his proven leadership and business skill, he was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Human Resources. Steve continued to prove his expertise and was promoted in August of 2001 Vice President of Operations, overseeing all financial and manufacturing aspects of TCI. On July 1, 2002, Steve will take over the reins and continue the corporate values that have been developed under the excellent leadership of Mr. Kerry Shoemaker.
